Cantelope has a very low sugar alcohol content. Other fruits low in sugar alcohol include bananas, blueberries, strawberries, honeydew, pineapple, kiwi fruit, and citrus fruits. If you think you might be sensitive to sugar alcohols, talk to your doctor or dietitian. They can help you figure out if you need to avoid them or if you can eat them in moderation.
Some fruits have high amount of sugar alcohol and some have small amount. Watermelon is high in erythritol however cantaloupe does not have much sugar alcohol.
Most fruit and some vegetables contain sugar alcohol (such as sorbitol). Melon, however, is actually a fruit which is quite low in sorbitol.
