To prolong the shelf life of cilantro, freezing is recommended. To freeze, you must do the initial process of sanitizing, wash in running water, place in chlorinated solution for 10 to 15 minutes, rinse and dry the leaves, remove the stalk and place the leaves in an airtight bag for good conservation in the freezer. This way the food can last for 2 to 3 months.
