BAILEYS LAUNCHES NEW FLAVOUR AND THERE’S A PLACE TO GET IT CHEAPER THAN SUPERMARKETS

The iconic Irish Cream Liqueur is back and this time it's in Mint Chocolate Shake flavour, just in time for spring/summer beverages. The limited-edition drink is available to shop from multiple retailers, but we've found a deal at Amazon that will save you over £2.

Shoppers can pick up a Baileys Mint Choc Shake Irish Cream Liqueur for £17 instead of the supermarket average price of £20.99. The 70cl bottle has a 17% ABV and marries the essence of Baileys Original Irish Cream with a refreshing mint finish and dark chocolate and vanilla.

Whether you plan to serve this over ice with friends or loved ones in the garden, or you've just found a naughty addition to pour over your ice cream scoops, this unique taste was blended to be enjoyed. If you're a true Baileys warrior, you might remember the brand's mint variant from 2013 that swiftly won the hearts of fans.

Nina Jenkins, Europe Liqueurs Innovation Manager, expressed: "Our latest launch is chocc-ful of flavour, giving fans another reason to treat themselves this summer - it’s the ideal minty addition to special moments as the weather gets brighter”.

Amazon is currently the cheapest place to find the new Baileys retailing for £17. You can also spot the launch at The Bottle Club for £19.99, it's also available at Drink Supermarket for £20.99 and Sainsbury's for a price of £20.50.

Tesco Clubcard holders will also be able to snag the bottle for £17, or £20 without their Clubcard. Shoppers have praised the return of the minty liqueur, dubbing it as 'delicious'.

One review left by a customer said: "Baileys always make decent drinks and I confess, they're a bit of a weakness of mine. When I saw the mint chocolate version, it was a no-brainer for me to pick one up. Needless to say, I wasn't disappointed."

Another person shared delight, saying it is "absolutely delicious" and added: "I do like Baileys, never tried this version before and oh wow, it really is delicious. It tastes similar to mint-flavoured ice cream but richer and smoother. The taste is very moorish and before you know it, you have half a glass full."

However, not all customers were completely sold on the latest edition with one person declaring: "I don't ever think that mint and chocolate should meet and this is no exception."
